It is reported in the latest monthly situation report by the State Statistics Bureau that, from Jan. to Sep. in 2005, the industrial companies above scale realize a profit of RMB 988.3 billion Yuan, with an increase of 20.1% compared to that of the same period of last year. The combined index of industrial economic benefit is 171.96, a rise of 10.42 than that of the corresponding period of last year.

Among the industrial companies above scale, the amounts of state-owned or state-holding companies have an increase of 17.4%, and 28% for collective companies, 29.3% for joint-stock companies, 2.7% for companies with investment from foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan businessmen and 40.7% for private companies.
