ˇˇˇˇIt is reported at ˇ°Beijing International Reproducible
Energy Congress in 2005ˇ± that, the Chinese Government plans to rise
the proportion of reproducible energy from 7% to 15% of the primary
energy by the year of 2020, in order to treat with the greater resource
and environment pressure and realize the sustainable development.
ˇˇˇˇTo realize this objective, in the coming 15 years,
the whole society shall invest about RMB 150 million Yuan. According
to the initially accomplished ˇ°the Medium and Long-term Development
Plans for Reproducible Energy ˇ±, by the year of 2020, strive to
increase the proportion of installed capacity of power by reproducible
energy to over 30% of the total installed capacity. Among which,
the installed capacity of power by water will reach to 290 million
KW, with a development ratio of about 70%, and the ones by wind
will amount to 30 million KW, the ones by solar energy will be 2
million KW. The heating area of solar geyser will be up to 300 million
square meters, in place of 40 million tons of standard coal annually;
the methane utilization quantity will be 24 billon cubic meters;
actively develop the biological liquid fuels mainly from energy
crops, substitute of 10 million petroleum yearly.
