Large Country of Ceramics Production and Trade

For recent years, the continuous development
of ceramic industrial technics and technology competence has promoted
the sound and rapid development of the whole industry. In 2004, the
total output of ceramics in China is 95 million tons with an industrial
output value of RMB 210 billion Yuan, which is approximately USD $
27 billion. Among which, the output and export volume of artistic
ceramics and household ceramics are both rank in the first place in
the world.
Besides, foreign investors have remained sound investment momentum
in China ceramics field. Up to Oct. 2005, there are more than 1000
ceramics manufactures in China with foreign investment. The contractual
foreign capital has reached more than USD $ 2.5 billion, and the introduced
capital in real place amounts to USD $ 1.6 billion.
